Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crowfy website and app ("Crowfy", the "Service"), operated by Adam Husain, an independent solo developer ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Crowfy is a community-driven platform for discovering and sharing information about free and public WiFi networks. The Service depends on user-contributed content and is provided for convenience only.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Crowfy. Accounts are created via Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

3. User-Contributed Content

You are solely responsible for any WiFi networks, passwords, or other content you submit. By submitting content you confirm that:

• you have the right and authorisation to share it, and sharing it does not breach any third party's rights or any agreement you are bound by;
• you grant Crowfy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the Service;
• you will not submit content that is unlawful, that facilitates unauthorised access to networks you have no permission to share, or that is misleading, abusive, or infringing.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, scraping it at scale, circumventing security or access controls, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You must comply with all applicable laws when accessing any network found via Crowfy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Crowfy name, branding, design, and software are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

6. Disclaimers

The Service and all community content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any listed network exists, works, is secure, or is safe to use. You connect to any network entirely at your own risk and are responsible for protecting your own devices and data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or any network accessed through it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that member state have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
